Ahhoz, hogy a tudományban és az innovációban kimagasló eredményeket érhessünk el, szükség van mind a nők, mind a férfiak képességeire. Annak ellenére, hogy az elmúlt években a felsőoktatásban való részvétel terén határozott előrelépés történt, a statisztikai adatok szerint a nők továbbra is alulreprezentáltak a tudományos kutatásban, a vezetői pozíciókban és általában a természettudomány számos területén.

A Budapesti Francia Intézet és partnerszervezetei által megrendezésre kerülő konferenciája három fő témakört jelöl meg, amelyek hatással lehetnek a nők arányos részvételére a kutatásban, a döntéshozatalban és a vállalatirányításban: egyenlő hozzáférés a természettudományi egyetemek képzéseihez; hozzáférés a kutatások pénzügyi támogatásaihoz; kutatás és innováció az üzleti életben.

Hogy ez az esemény valódi lehetőséget nyújtson a perspektívák megvitatására és a bevált gyakorlatok megosztására, felszólalóként európai és nemzetközi szakértőket és szakembereket kértünk fel, akiknek részvételét együttműködő partnereink: magyarországi nagykövetségek, kulturális intézetek és kutatóintézetek támogatják.

Achieving excellence in science and innovation require that the talents of both women and men be taken into account. Despite the progress made in recent years in terms of access to higher education, data shows that women tend to be unequally represented in academic research and decision-making, and in a number of scientific areas generally.

This conference, organized by the French Institute and its partners, addresses three major issues impacting the equal participation of women in scientific research and decision-making: equality of access to sciences in universities; access to research financing; and research and innovation in the business world. In order to make this event a true opportunity to exchange perspectives and good practices, European and international experts and practitioners in the fields covered by this conference will also take part, with the financial and organizational support of partner embassies, cultural institutes, and research institutions in Hungary.

The conference is organised in partnership with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology,  the Academy of Sciences, the Association of Hungarian Women in Science, the Polish Institute, the German Embassy, the Czech Centre, the Budapest University of  Technology and Economics, the Business Council for Sustainable Development in Hungary, L’Oreal, et Div[e]it.
