Expositions

L'artiste française Noémie Goudal est l'une des participantes invitées à créer une nouvelle œuvre dans le cadre du programme international de résidence d'artistes Balaton Eye. Au cours de sa résidence dans la région de Balaton-Veszprém, elle a étudié les compositions du paysage : des anciennes grottes et formations rocheuses aux caractéristiques uniques de la partie nord du Balaton. Elle y a observé l'extraordinaire vie végétale de l'arboretum de Folly, ce qui l’a inspirée pour la création d’une nouvelle œuvre qui sera présentée pour la première fois dans le cadre de l'exposition.

Noémie Goudal a obtenu sa maîtrise en photographie au Royal College of Art (Royaume-Uni) en 2010. Ses œuvres font partie de collections publiques telles que le Victoria and Albert Museum, Londres ; le Centre Pompidou, Paris ; la David Roberts Art Foundation, Londres ; le FOAM Museum, Amsterdam ; le Fotomuseum Winterthur, Winterthur ; la Kadist Art Foundation, Paris ; le Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi et la New Art Gallery Walsall, Walsall. Noémie Goudal vit et travaille à Paris.

Inhale/Exhale - Exhibition of Noémie Goudal

The French artist Noémie Goudal is one of the participants who was invited to create a new work as part of the international Balaton Eye artist-in-residency program. During her residency in the Balaton-Veszprém region, she examined the special features of the landscape: from ancient caves, and rock formations to the unique features of the northern part of Balaton. There she observed the extraordinary plant life and unique vegetation growing on the shallow, silicate soils of Permian sandstone at Folly Arboretum in the Badacsony hills resulting in a new work that will be presented for the first time as part of the exhibition.

Noémie Goudal graduated from the Royal College of Art (UK) in 2010 with an MA in Photography. Goudal's work is held in public collections including Victoria and Albert Museum, London, UK; Centre Pompidou, Paris, France; David Roberts Art Foundation, London, UK; FOAM Museum, Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Fotomuseum Winterthur, Winterthur, Switzerland; Kadist Art Foundation, Paris, France; Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi, India and The New Art Gallery Walsall, Walsall, UK. Noémie Goudal lives and works in Paris.
